You can get rewarded for participating in Flex events – periods of high-energy use which can cause stress on the grid. With the Flex Batteries program, you can earn rewards automatically while helping to ensure stable energy for the community. This is the program available to everyone on the PSE Grid. Homeowners can take advantage of a tax credit and battery refunds for up to 5 batteries. This program also offers enrollment in the Flex Program that pays homeowners $500 per year per battery to support the grid during moments of stress. There is no contractual obligation to stay in the flex program for any duration of time.

This segment of incentives offers an additional $10,000 battery refund per battery to the purchaser based on segments of qualification that include income restricted, landlords of section 8 housing, and homes with medical devices from a list of specific machines. This program allows for homeowners to purchase 5 batteries per dwelling. With enrollment in the flex program participants receive $500 dollar per battery annually.
If you qualify for this incentive, this offer is too good to refuse. This portion of incentives is meant to support a rural grid that could benefit from a boost in capability. If your home is located in Cle Elum, Ellensburg, or the sorrounding areas give us a call to see if you qualify. This extra incentive is based on your address so the only way to know is to ask. This program offers an additional $5,000 per battery on top of the $10,000 incentive offered in Pathway A. This is for up to 5 batteries per dwelling in a prequalified location. PSE’s Flex Batteries Enhanced Incentives make battery energy storage systems more accessible by offsetting the upfront equipment and installation costs. And because this lower purchase and install cost is paired with enrollment rewards (and even more rewards for participation) through PSE’s Flex Batteries program, you can save money at the time of installation and earn over the life of your system.
Enhanced incentives are available to residential electric customers with an eligible battery system connected to PSE's grid that meet the requirements of either Pathway A or Pathway B.
